This study attempts to give an answer for a question that has long been making politicians scratch their heads in terms of theory and practice, the question is: Can Islamic political heritage construct a full-blown political theory?
By looking into political thinking heritage publications in various entry points: jurisprudential shari’a, philosophical theoretical, moral and social urban through shedding light on the publications of Al-Mawardi, Al-Farabi, Al-Tartushi and Ibn Khaldun in an attempt to understand this entry points and their central tent, achieve a kind of chronological accumulation of knowledge and historical civilizational connection to reach the largest possible degree of inclusiveness to different determinants based on common assets instead of fragmentation of some at the expense of others.
